This guide outlines the polices and procedures surrounding the Library and its operation.

Off-Campus Database Access

Links to library subscription databases are indicated visually by a blue bulldog paw print. Any database link that you click when not connected to the PCC Network, will prompt you to enter a username and password.


Students, Staff, Faculty, and Early College:

Use your myPittCC username and password to access Library databases from off campus.


Everyone else:

Everyone else includes, but is not limited to, the following groups:

  • Foundational Studies
  • Continuing Ed
  • Basic Skills
  • GED Students
  • Community Residents.

PCC Library Databases

Linking to Database Content

Whenever possible, you should use the permalinks provided by the databases in order to link to database content. Do not copy the session URL listed in the browser's address bar. In most cases this link will not work after the session has finished or the window has been closed.
