Use the resources listed in this guide to begin your research. Make sure that you pay attention to the search tips and examples featured on each page. They will help make your research more successful.

You can jump right in to searching for resources by using Summon. Just type a few keywords on any topic that interests you in the search box to find a variety of library resources including full-text articles, e-books, and more.

Once you have a list of results, use the options in the side bar to refine your results by date, type of resource, subject, etc.
There are many themes that flow out of Sedaris's Naked . You may need to search other types of databases in order to find articles on the topic or theme that you have chosen.
The username and password to access databases from off campus are similar to what you use to access the PCC portal (myPittCC) and Moodle. The only difference is that you DO NOT include the last part of your email address (@my.pittcc.edu) in the username. Generic logins are available to community residents with PCC library cards, and others who are enrolled in or are affiliated with PCC programs and continuing education courses. Have questions? Ask us!
