The Tutorial & Academic Success Center (TASC) Writing Center is a FREE service provided to all PCC students. Our tutors are dedicated to helping students at every stage of the writing process.
All of our on campus locations are currently closed, but we have moved online to continue serving PCC students. We offer online tutoring appointments from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays.
To contact us, email us at pccwritingcenter@my.pittcc.edu or visit our website at www.pittcc.edu/writingcenter.
To make an appointment, please fill out the Request for Tutoring form (MyPittCC login required). After you submit the form, one of our scheduling coordinators will contact you to set up your online tutoring session.
We also have virtual walk-in hours from 2 - 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday where students can get immediate help from one of our tutors.
If you don’t have time to make an appointment, but still want someone to review your paper, we have a paper review service. You’ll receive your draft back to you within 24 hours if the paper is received Monday to Thursday. Papers submitted Friday to Sunday will receive feedback on Monday. To submit a paper, click here (MyPittCC login required).
The Writing Center is part of the Tutorial and Academic Success Center (TASC). TASC is a FREE service for all students registered for traditional, internet, evening, and weekend classes at PCC. Individual and group sessions with academically qualified peer tutors and professional tutors are offered to provide academic support. At the end of the fall and spring semesters, TASC hosts an Exam Jam event to prepare students for final exams. Students are encouraged to sign up for tutoring as early in the semester as possible.
