- EZproxy access for libraries using NC LIVE Hosted Proxy (includes Pitt CC Library), barcode pattern matching, and the NC LIVE password.
The issue is . . .
A student is having trouble accessing a Kanopy video link in her Moodle course. When clicking the link, the student gets an error page stating: “Can't access website”

Here's what to try:
- Verify that the correct link is being used in the course. There is a Kanopy libguide page with a section for instructors on how to find the correct links to use in courses. Here's an example of a correct Share link from Kanopy: https://www.kanopy.com/en/pittcc/video/12734341
- Open the link in a different browser. For example, if you are using MS Edge, try using Chrome instead.
- Update the browser that's being used.
- Find and access the video via the Library database instead of using the link provided in Moodle. For Kanopy, follow these instructions:
- From the Library homepage, click the A-Z Databases button.
- Click the letter “K” then scroll down and click the link for Kanopy.
- Click the Login with MyPittCC button. Login if prompted.
- From the Kanopy homepage, click Search.
- Type the title of the video in the search box. Click Search.
- Scroll through the results until you locate the correct video.
If none of this works, you will need to let us know by either using the Report a Problem form, or contacting a librarian via the Ask Us page.
