Search Tips & Examples

Combine keywords with AND.

• privacy AND internet
• humanity AND technology AND ethic*

Use an asterisk (*) to search for multiple forms of a word.

• ethic* will find ethic, ethics, ethical, etc.
• moral* will find moral, morals, morality, etc.

Put quotation marks around phrases.

• "genetic engineering" AND ethic*
• "interpersonal relationships" AND technology
• "information technology" AND "social aspects"
• technology AND "psychological aspects"
• technology AND "social aspects"
• "genetic engineering" AND "human enhancement"

Use OR when you want to search for words or phrases that are similar.

• "sex trafficking" OR "human trafficking"
• biotechnology AND (moral* OR ethic*)
