Hi, I'm Evan Schmoll, the Instruction and Outreach Librarian at PCC. I love to read and am excited to be a part of HBOB because YA is one of my favorite genres to read. In addition to reading, I love to travel, try new restaurants, and hang out with my younger sister. My favorite trip was to the Dominican Republic where I got to swim with dolphins! That's where this picture is from. I'd love to go to Iceland one day.
I was born in Alaska and lived in Rhode Island until I was 12 so I am used to cold weather. Although I've lived in NC for nearly 30 years, I'm still not used to the heat and humidity!

I’m a librarian at PCC who loves working with books, databases, and computers. My undergraduate degree is actually in piano, so I spend a lot of time playing piano for musical theater productions and church services. I sometimes joke that I slave over a computer keyboard by day, and a piano keyboard by night.
