The goal of NC3ADL is to foster a distance learning community that promotes networking, sharing of best practices, and communication of distance learning issues across the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS).

NC-NET offers a peer-juried and peer-moderated medium through which exemplary and timely professional development opportunities may be accessed. One of the major goals of the project is to eliminate duplication of efforts while providing access to some of the best professional development resources developed by community colleges throughout North Carolina. NC-NET catalogs, warehouses, and disseminates these resources in addition to creating online courses, workshops, and tutorials.

The VLC Quality and Assessment, Professional Development, and Technology Centers collaboratively apply expertise in research and information related to trending best practices, customized training and professional development opportunities, and technology tools, with the overarching goal of helping faculty build student success.
