Some databases focus on a specific subject area such as medicine, business, fine arts, law, etc. To see a list of databases on a particular topic:
Business research from journals, trade publications, market research reports, dissertations, and working papers.
Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL), is a large collection of nursing and allied health journals that provides some full text access. Additional materials include evidence-based care sheets and quick lessons which provide concise overviews of diseases and conditions and outline the most effective treatment options.
Includes periodicals from the fields of law enforcement, corrections and other criminal justice fields.
Full text literature database with information from reference books, literary journals, magazines, study guides, and videos.
Includes trade and scholarly journals covering topics such as engineering, welding, ceramics, chemistry, biotechnology, glass, industrial manufacturing, construction materials, and more.
The username and password to access databases is the same as what you use to log in to myPittCC and Moodle. The username is your entire myPittCC email address (jdstudent000@my.pittcc.edu).
