If you are not sure how to get started finding information for your projects, do not hesitate to contact a librarian. We will be glad to meet with you in person, by phone, or online. The important thing is that you ask!
A librarian can help you:
Contact the Reference Desk when you want to speak with a librarian. A librarian can help you use the resources listed throughout the Library website and walk you through the research process.
The e-mail form provides you with a quick way to submit a question so that you don't have to open your e-mail account. Just make sure that you enter your e-mail address correctly (or include a phone number) so that the librarian can contact you. You should receive a replay within one business day. If not, please let us know!
The online chat service is staffed by professional librarians, but they do not work at Pitt Community College. If your question is very specific to something at Pitt, they will let you know if you need to contact the PCC Library for further assistance.
If you need help with writing, grammar, formulating a thesis, etc., you should contact the PCC Writing Center. The Writing Center is part of the Tutorial and Academic Success Center (TASC) and is a FREE service for all students registered for traditional, internet, evening, and weekend classes at PCC.
