Many books are available electronically, either from a library database or other online website.

Other Local Libraries

If you need a print copy right away and have access to transportation, see if the book is available at another local library. A librarian will be happy to help you find books at other local libraries before you travel. Please ask for help!

*PCC students, faculty, and staff can use their PCC ID to check books out from the ECU libraries.

Get Books from Other Libraries Delivered to PCC: Allow 5-10 Days

There are two steps in getting books from other libraries:

1. Search for Books

PCC Library Catalog
To search for books at located at other N.C. community college libraries, Click the Catalog Direct Link, type your search term, then click the All Libraries.
WorldCat.org
Use WorldCat to search for books and other items in libraries all over the world. Choose "Stay on www.worldcat.org" if prompted.

2. Request a Book via Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Request a Book through ILL [Google Form]
Complete this form to request a book from another library.

Renovation Update: Books at PCC Library

The majority of the print book collection is currently unavailable while the 2nd floor of the Library undergoes renovation.

Print collections that are still available include: Reserves, Bestsellers, Young Adult, Children's, Reference, and Legal Reference.
The options for accessing information from books are outlined below.
