Anyone from the community college system who is interested in OER is invited to attend the NCCCS OER Community of Practice (CoP) meetings, which are held online on the first Thursday of each month at 11 a.m.
The OER Search session will answer the following questions:
Where can I find OER?
What search strategy should I use?
How do I organize my list of resources?
Additionally, when you register, you will be able to specify topics or questions that you'd like covered during the session.
This session is for Pitt CC teaching faculty and staff who want to learn about open educational resources (OER).
OER Basics will answer the following questions:
What exactly is an open educational resource (OER)?
How do you begin searching for OER?
The Virtual Learning Community (VLC) offers live and on-demand training. They are currently offering introductory OER and openNCCC sessions. You will have to create a VLC account in order to register for sessions. If you have any questions, or need help with the registration process, please contact Angela Davis at firstname.lastname@example.org
