Printing, scanning, and photocopying are available in the Library. Wireless printing is not available.
Important: The photocopier is cash/coin operated and is not tied in to the print system. The charge for photocopies is $.10 per page.
*PCC Faculty and staff are charged one-half these costs.
You will use the Cash Acceptor machine to add money to your print account or print card. It is located on the 1st floor of the Library.
The machine takes $1, $5, and $10 bills, but does not give change.
Current account balances can be checked at any time by entering the student ID number, employee Colleague number, or the number printed on the back of your print card into one of the print release stations, or into the print system Cash Acceptor machine.
*NOTE: All PCC ID numbers must be seven digits long to work with the print system, but some student ID numbers or Colleague numbers contain only six. In these cases, a zero (0) must be added to the beginning of the number for printing purposes.
Registered students can use their PCC student ID number to print.
Curriculum students receive a $10 print credit at the beginning of each semester. It may take the IT department a few days into the semester before the print credit is added. If you need something printed right away, talk to a library staff member about your options.
If you find that you do not receive your $10 print credit or you do not have an account in the print system, contact the IT Support Help Desk at (252) 493-7487.
Current PCC employees (full- or part-time), will use their Colleague ID# to print.
Employees receive a $10 print credit each semester and will be charged only 5¢ per page.
If you find that you do not receive your $10 print credit or you do not have an account in the print system, contact the IT Support Help Desk at (252) 493-7487.
Community patrons and NCWC students can print in the Library by purchasing a reusable print card. Cards can be purchased from the card dispenser machine located on the 1st floor of the Library.
The card dispenser will only take $1 bills. Print cards cost $1 (50¢ for the card and 50¢ worth of print credit).
